Does Sigsync service get affected by changing the global admin’s credentials?
Suppose you have changed the global admin account credentials used for Office 365 tenant registration. Does this affect Sigsync Email Signature service?
Resolution:
Effect of Changes to Admin Account or AD Attributes on Sigsync
- User Principal Name / Display Name Changes:
Updating the User Principal Name or display name of the admin account does not affect the Sigsync configuration; the service will continue to work as usual.
- Global Admin Password Changes:
Changing the password of the global admin account also does not impact Sigsync functionality.
- Active Directory Attribute Changes:
If any AD attributes are modified, you must sync the changes for the specific tenant. To do this, go to Settings and click ‘Sync AD Changes Now’, as shown in the screenshot below.
