Sigsync Signatures Outlook Add-in 'Preview Only' mode
By default Sigsync Signatures Outlook Add-in supports the following important features
- Sigsync Signatures Add-in can be directly deployed in Outlook for Windows and in Outlook Web Application (OWA) or globally from the Microsoft 365 admin center
- It directly adds signatures in Outlook and OWA when you compose an email.
- You can selectively choose the signature templates to be inserted during or after composing an email
- It enables you to manage centralized signatures for your Office 365 at the client side (directly on Outlook)
Use of Outlook Add-in 'Preview Only' mode:
As the name indicates, the 'Preview Only' mode will not support editing of the centralized signatures while composing an email. This is managed by not adding signatures in Outlook and OWA when you compose an email.
For Instance: In Sigsync Server side mode, if you have deployed Sigsync Signatures Outlook add-in and you don't wish anyone editing signatures during or after composing an email then you have an option to change this Add-in mode to 'Preview Only' mode.
Upon enabling 'Preview Only' mode, the following are the functionalities of Add-in :
- Outlook Add-in in 'Preview Only' mode will not add signatures in Outlook & OWA when you compose an email.
- Add-in in 'Preview Only' mode will disable the option to insert signatures from Add-in pane.
- While composing an email, you can view the Signature preview (not editable) based on your Signature rules.
Steps to enable 'Preview Only' mode for Sigsync Signatures Add-in
Step 1: Login to Sigsync Dashboard and click the Manage Signature button.
Step 2: Click on the Preferences tab and select the Set Outlook Add-in to 'Preview Only' mode option to enable Preview only mode for Sigsync Signatures Add-in as shown below.
