Sync Active Directory(AD) changes
SigSync uses Active Directory (AD) information from Office 365 / Azure Active Directory to populate user details and profile photos in email signatures. AD updates, such as changes to name, company, job title, or contact information, are automatically reflected in SigSync approximately once every hour.
If you need the AD changes to appear immediately, SigSync provides two manual options Sync AD Changes and Sync Profile Photos that allow administrators to trigger updates on demand.
- Sync AD Changes refreshes user attributes to ensure that all recent updates, including new users or modified fields, are applied without waiting for the hourly sync.
- Sync Profile Photos updates user profile photos from Office 365 / Azure Active Directory, ensuring that any recent changes are accurately reflected in email signatures. Note that syncing all profile photos can be resource-intensive, so it is recommended to perform this operation only when profile photos have been recently updated.
